Blood Spot Analysis

General Information

Created for Health

The Blood Spot Analysis involves a simple finger prick, similar to an at home blood sugar reading, where 1-2 drops of blood are applied to the filter paper provided for you. This is then mailed in and the analysis is able to begin. It starts with food. Food is the root of all inflammation in the blood itself. So we need to know what food is causing that inflammation.

The analysis usually begins with a general health analysis panel. This provides you and your Health Manager with the basic function of your main organs and hormones. Other panels can also be ordered that look more in depth into various body systems or “infections” (molds and bacteria) and toxins. In this method, numbers are not what is important or recorded.  You are not a number and how your liver is functioning should not be compared to someone else’s liver, only to your own. Conventional lab results present you with a number and a reference range. The range is based on a national average of those who are visiting the labs and doctors offices. You are special. You are not the average and the average may or may not be healthy. The analysis is able to determine what is best for you and you alone. This is why we speak of function or even better, functionality. When we move into this thinking, understanding ourselves, our lifestyle and ultimately treatment, becomes much easier.

This method reports one of 3 different findings. “Functioning” (“green” in color) means that what was analyzed is working well. “Under-functioning” (“yellow” in color) means that what was analyzed is in need of support – it’s working, but not ideally or to its utmost potential. “Dis-functioning (“red” in color) means that what was analyzed is not functioning properly. This does not necessarily mean you need an emergency room visit. This means there is concern here and the body is trying to present symptoms in order to make us aware that this is the problem area.

Interestingly, when it comes to both chronic or acute issues, some organs or systems, may NOT be in the “red” even if the symptom is there. For example, a person may have a cough but the lung is yellow or on rare occasions green. Why? This is because we are looking at the function of the tissue. The lungs are working or could be working. But the lungs may be overcome with a bacterial or fungal infection. So the symptom is present here, but it does not mean the lung tissue is not working. In fact, sometimes the symptom could be the sign that the tissue is working.

For both yellow and red, not only is it not about a number, but it is not about a diagnosis of “hypo” or “hyper” functioning.  Those are conventional medical terms and although they do represent functionality, these terms are important in conventional treatment to determine the correct prescription or treatment that might be needed. However, with this method and leading into the formulations, this is also not important, as our approach to healing works for either end of the spectrum. A more precise term to use is disfunction, instead of “hyper” or “hypo”.  These treatments bring the body back to proper design and function regardless of which direction the disfunction it has been labeled.
