This panel is probably the most inclusive of any of the panels when it comes to infections or molds. This panel looks at the same molds from the Mold Panel, since many times they get lodged into the lungs. But the panel also includes a number of various bacteria that often cause lung, throat/tonsil issues. So, although called the Lung Infection Panel, this could be a go to for infections of the lungs, sinuses, throat or tonsils. Persistent coughs, recurring lung infections, chronic sinus issues, severe reactions to musty rooms or smells. These would all be reason to consider this panel.
